Sun at Tate modern

For sure, Tate modern is the museum where I have enter more times... and possibly my favourite... Really the building itself was the biggest atrayent for me... and inside the building the Turbine Room...
The first time I reached Tate modern museum (2003) I saw the incredible half-Sun that you can see in the pics and the video, giving this ligth to the room and to the gigant mirror of the ceiling... impressive.

- Estoy seguro de que el museo que he visitado más veces es la Tate modern en Londres. Solamente el edificio ya me hacía querer entrar... Una vieja central eléctrica, con una gran sala de turbinas que se usa ahora para exponer cosas a "lo grande".
La primera vez que entré, en 2003, tuve la suerte de ver una instalación que consistía en un gran semi-sol que se reflejaba en un techo cubierto de espejos y que daba la luz que puedes ver en las fotos y en el video, a toda la sala... impresionante.

Exquisito cadáver

Cuando los surrealistas se juntaban a tomar algo, a veces, jugaban a hacer Cadáveres exquisitos... En ellos cada uno pintaba una parte de un dibujo mayor... sin ver lo que habían creado sus compañeros. Ahora el resultado de estos juegos son obras de arte como la de arriba, hecha por Dalí, su mujer Gala, Breton y Hugo en 1928.
Os aconsejo practicarlo, enmarcarlo y usarlo como elemento decorativo... yo lo hice...

- When the surreal artists had their dinners it was usual to play "Exquisite corpse". In this game that later become artworks... each one has to paint a part of a drwaing without seeing the others parts. The picture above is the result of a game between Dalí, Gala (his wife), Breton and Hugo.

The XVII century solution to a low ceiling was contract the services of Andrea Pozzo. In this high resolution photo you can see that he was able to introduce some (lot) three-dimensionality to flat surfaces
 -En el siglo XVII si tenías un techo bajo... llamabas a Andrea Pozzo y te hacia un apaño sin obra ni nada... Aquí puedes ver una foto a gran aumento de la que dicen es su  obra cumbre... yodigo... fijate que las ventanas están pintadas (como el resto).
