Shaun Tan, the first of the "books recommendations"

I have realized that some artist, musicians, etc... that I consider very famous, are really not know for lots of people.
I show you only one of the great pictures from Shaun Tan, and fantastic illustrator that in this webpage show his amazing work.

Yes, he make mainly Picture books, I recommend them. So, this is my first "book recommendations".

I consider that my "books recommendations" have a great value, since I have read only a few books... So, follow my "books recommendations"!!! does not matter that you think or not that "reading is overated".


-Ultimamente, que me estoy relacionando con gente más joven, me he dado cuenta que algunos artistas, o músicos que yo considero realmente famosos, son poco o nada conocidos por bastante gente.
La de arriba es solo una de las  magníficas ilustraciones de Shaun Tan, un ilustrador fantástico que muestra su trabajo en esta página.

Sí, el principalmente lo que hace son álbunes ilustrados, y sí, yo los recomiendo, Así que esta es mi primera recomendación de libros ("books recommendations") aquí.

Considero que mis "books recommendations" tienen mucho valor debido a que solamnete he leido unos cuantos de libros (las últimas estimaciones hablaban de unos 40), así que te recomiendo que sigas mis "books recommendations"!!! Pienses o no que La lectura está sobrevalorada.

Today a great hit, The Rasterbator. The program (that you can download or use it on-line) produce a large... or a very large or a very very very very large image from any image that you choose. It works like the big  publicity panels.  I have use it several times, for example to decorate a party. You can find hundreds of examples of designs here. - Un grande.. el Rasterbator... para ampliar cualquier foto a cualquier tamaño. El sistema te permite tener la imagen al tamaño que quieras sin que se distorsione... y te la salva como un pdf que puedes imprimir facilmente (y barato). Puedes encontrar muchso ejemplo en blanco y negro aqui.

Tennis for two

The video below shows two people playing "Tennis for two"... the second videogame ever made (Really wikipedia disagree with this and says that it is the fifth... I do not care... it is very old...). This was made 14 years before that the mythic pong, the first videogame I ever played. Here you can play Pong. - El video de abajo es de dos peresonas jugando "Tenis para dos", en teoría , el segundo videojuego de la historia, hecho en 1958 (aunque wikipedia dice que es el quinto). Este juego fue hecho 14 años antes que Pong, el primer videojuego de Atari que se cruzó en mi camino.

This webpage give you some info about the first use of computers in movies. I strongly recommend The Andromeda strain (La amenaza de Andromeda, en España) and of course Tron - y por supuesto Tron, aunque de Tron considero igual de bueno, el "como se hizo" de la edición especial del DVD.
