Painting reality

Everybody can be an artist... you too... and your car...

K A M B A R

Today... an exception... I am going to write too much...
It looks that KAMBAR is not going to open again... This is sad for me. Sad for the memories... the lots of memories...

Yes, it was dirty.
Yes, it stank.
Yes, only a few girls over there were beautiful (mostly our friends)
Yes, the drinks were in plastic cups nad the beers were not cold
Yes, even so, it was amazing

Most of the music that I listen nowadays I discovered at this place... (yes, I had a very narrow musical spectrum). This is a playlist that I have been doing with songs that I listened (and normally danced) at KAMBAR... I know that there are a lot more... (if the link is broken, you can find the playlist in google: goear+kambar). They claim to feature all these groups in the Friday night... (the music in the Saturday nigth was always a bit more electro and heterogeneous).

'Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Love, The Killers, Vue, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, The Wombats, Interpol, The Cribs, Foals, Blood Red Shoes, Young Knives, The Futureheads, Le Tigre, The Stooges, Gossip, Kaiser Chiefs, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Jamie T, Kings Of Leon, We Are Scientists, Soulwax, New Young Pony Club, Klaxons, The Rolling Stones, CSS, Hot Hot Heat, The Libertines, Editors, The Cure, Arcade Fire, Small Faces, Muse, The Doors, Bloc Party, Pulp, Babyshambles, The Velvet Underground, Joy Division, Dirty Pretty Things, Ladytron, Maxïmo Park, The Subways, Rocket Science, The Kills, Arctic Monkeys, David Bowie, The Holloways, Good Shoes, Peaches, The Smiths, The Clash, Pavement, The Walkmen, Depeche Mode, Pixies, The Departure, Sons And Daughters, Radiohead, The Chalets, Sonic Youth, The Raveonettes, T-Rex, The Duke Spirit, The White Stripes, Ramones, plus many, many more...'

Please, if you remember more titles... put them in the comments... I will add them to the list.
My plan is to get all the songs and make a CD with them, with a new pic like the one above... but with more people that it is not in this one...

Go to KAMBAR... Go to KAMBAR...

Wardrobes, water , and cures

Hoy, el que para mí fue durante mucho tiempo... "el video ese del armario", que me dejaba embobado por su sonido xilofónico... Algún día buscaré que dice la letra...
- Close to me. I think that what I love is the xlylophone...
